The Blackwood River Chamber Festival, founded in 1997, is a small, high-quality, annual festival of chamber music held in Bridgetown, Western Australia.

Bridgetown lies in the Blackwood River Valley, one of the most beautiful regions of Australia, being a verdant district of rolling orchard, forest and farming country settled in the late nineteenth century, on the northern edge of the giant karri and jarrah forests.

Directions: Bridgetown is 3 hours south of Perth by car, on good roads, or 4 hours by train & bus via Bunbury.

If driving from Perth, take either the South West Highway from Armadale, or the Freeway through Mandurah to Bunbury. Continue south, following the signs to Donnybrook. Bridgetown is 88kms (approximately 1 hour) from Bunbury.

Public Transport is available through South West Coachlines or TransWA, see your local Visitor Centre for more information.
