This comic whodunnit features great lines, puns and word play within a script that throws red herrings and will keep you guessing.


Wendy plunged down the stairs, Barry is found wellies up in a water butt. The body count rises in the small village of Chortleby and it soon becomes apparent that members of the Hall Committee are being targeted.

Will you sleuth out the murderer? You'll probably fare better than the bumbling Detective Inspector Twigg, who "leads" the investigations, often in the wrong direction! Luckily, Agatha Crusty (pronounced Croosty), a crime novelist adept at solving mysteries, is in town and can help. There are many fun and fine characters/suspects to meet and investigate!

This fun murder mystery opens on 22nd March runs over two weekends.

Tickets: Adult $20, Concession $15, Repertory Members $12. All tickets for the two matinees are $15 (Rep Members $12). Please note that if you are a Rep Member and wish to book tickets at the Visitor Centre, you must bring your membership card with you, and the discounted price only applies to the cardholder.

Bridgetown is a 3 hour drive from Perth down the South West Highway. The Theatre is on your right hand side as you enter the town boundary, on the corner of the highway and Nelson Street.
