The Park has playground equipment, gazebo, BBQ, giant chess board (chess pieces can be hired at the Visitor Centre) and toilets.  Older children have room to kick the football or just run around in this open area of the park.

On the rise on the other side of the brook (access through a child proof gate) is the War Memorial.  A memorial contains the names of 65 soldiers who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.
