Tinkahill is the working studio & gallery of husband and wife, John Garde and Su Berghuis-Garde. The venue is home to a constantly changing backdrop of visual art. The pair exhibit a range of complementary styles; Garde is well-known for his traditional portraits – his more recent subjects range from corporate portraits, International actors to nostalgic sepia studies. His faithful rendering of light and atmosphere is reminiscent of old masters.

Berghuis-Garde works in a variety of media. Her work extracts symbols imbued with meaning both personal and universal resulting in contemplative images on paper and canvas.

Both artists are available for workshops, classes and private commissions in 2019. Visitors are welcome any time.
